Artist Bios

We are a group of proud Arrernte men from Ltyentye Apurte and the founders of the Ltyentye Apurte Traditional Craft Centre. We started the Traditional Craft centre because we were witnessing our culture and traditions being lost. The skills that we are revitalising skipped our fathers generation. We learnt and honed these skills directly from our grandparents. We are proud to have started using these traditional skills once again and are sharing our knowledge with the next generation.
