Urtne is a wooden dish made for carrying and collecting things in, even ampe kweke mape (babies). This individually hand crafted piece, was made from locally sourced mallee from around Ltyentye Apurte NT. It is a small Coolamon carved by Darren Hayes, with a light coloured outside and darker inside.
