Amirre (Woomera) A wooden implement used to
assist launching the long skinny hunting spears,
allowing them to travel very long and accurate
distances.
Iltyarte (Throwing Spear) Taken from a branch, a
long stick is heated by fire, sand and ash and then
straightened out. The spear head is bound on using
the sinew found in Kangaroo tail. A spear is used for
hunting and can be thrown long distances using an
amirre (woomera)
